This Privacy Policy describes how Eventlad ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you use our platform as an organizer, attendee or visitor. By using Eventlad, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information we collect
We collect account information you provide (name, email, organization), event content you create (titles, descriptions, schedules, cover images), ticket purchase data (buyer email, ticket tier, amount, currency), payout details (bank, PayPal or Wise account identifiers), and technical data such as device, browser and IP address used for security and abuse prevention.
2. How we use your information
To operate the platform, process ticket sales and payouts, deliver tickets and receipts, surface analytics, send transactional and (with your consent) marketing email, and improve product features. We never sell personal data.
3. Legal bases
We process data under contract (delivering the service), legitimate interest (security, fraud prevention, product improvement), legal obligation (tax and payment compliance) and consent (marketing communications you've opted in to).
4. Sharing & subprocessors
We share data only with vetted subprocessors used to deliver the service: payment processors, email providers, cloud infrastructure and analytics. A current list is available on request. We do not share buyer data with other organizers beyond what is required for their own events.
5. International transfers
Data may be processed in regions outside your home country. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
6. Retention
Account and event records are retained for as long as your account is active, plus the period required for tax, accounting and dispute resolution. You may request export or deletion at any time.
7. Your rights
You may access, correct, export or delete your personal data, object to processing, or withdraw consent. Contact privacy@eventlad.com to exercise any right. EU/UK users may also lodge a complaint with their local data authority.
8. Security
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Row-level security is enforced on every database table. Access is logged, role-restricted and audited. We run continuous security scanning.
9. Children
Eventlad is not intended for users under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We'll notify you of material changes by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect.
