Welcome to Eventlad. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Eventlad platform. Please read them carefully.
By creating an account or using Eventlad, you agree to these Terms. If you're using Eventlad on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
Eventlad provides software to create, promote, sell, manage and analyze events. We may add, modify or retire features over time. Material changes will be communicated in advance.
You're responsible for the accuracy of your account information, the security of your credentials, and all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
As an organizer, you're solely responsible for delivering the events you publish, honouring your refund policy, paying applicable taxes, and complying with all laws in the jurisdictions where you operate.
Free events have no platform fee. Paid tickets are subject to a per-ticket fee of 2.9% + $0.30 (or local equivalent), in addition to fees charged by payment processors (Stripe, PayPal, Wise). Payouts are routed to the method and currency you select in Settings → Payouts.
Refunds follow the policy you publish. Chargebacks are debited from your next payout. We may withhold payouts to cover anticipated refund or chargeback risk.
You may not use Eventlad to sell illegal goods or services, infringe intellectual property, harass others, or transmit malware. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.
You retain ownership of your content. You grant Eventlad a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and process your content solely to operate the service. We retain ownership of all Eventlad software and brand assets.
AI-generated drafts (copy, art, plans) are provided as suggestions. You are responsible for reviewing and editing before publishing. We do not train shared foundation models on your private content.
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, with notice where practical. Pending payouts will be released subject to standard verification.
The service is provided "as is". We disclaim warranties to the maximum extent allowed by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or specific event outcomes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eventlad's aggregate liability is limited to the greater of (a) fees paid to us in the 12 months prior to the claim or (b) USD 100.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Toronto.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
